About me

Personal goals first. Organisations as the expression.

I am trying to add value by solving simple problems with consistency and building organisations with strong fundamental principles. My work is across different domains across the globe - including law, technology, and Kabaddi.

Principles

What the work stands for.

01

India-first ambition

Build for Indian realities without lowering the standard of execution.

02

Legal systems as infrastructure

Use technology to make legal systems and technology accessible.

03

Sustainable organisations

Create teams, processes, products and communities that can compound over time.

04

Sport as an opportunity

Use Kabaddi as a platform for talent, identity, and economic participation.

Policy advocacy

Public-interest work with legal systems thinking.

The goal is to use tools and legal systems in order to improve government and legal processes with a solution oriented mindset. The solutions have to be fair, practical and achievable.

Governments and Courts operate in highly resource constrained environments with strong inertia. Criticising is not the goal. Baseline and fundamental improvement is the goal.

Right to Information

Improving access to public information through RTI

We pursued an RTI before the Department of Education (DoE) in Prabhjot Singh Dhillon vs. Govt. of NCT of Delhi & Anr. to clarify that not having information is not a valid defence for the government to not provide information under the RTI.

Reforms to the GST system

We have filed multiple litigations to improve the GST system for businesses - pursuing automatic and timely refunds, automatic interest payments, and a GST system without easing payments.
